Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Brian Elliott continued his good play on Monday with his second shutout in three appearances, helping the team to a 3-0 victory over Detroit. The veteran goalie had to make only 16 saves for his 40th career shutout. Scott Laughton, Kevin Hayes, and Matt Niskanen produced the offense, with the latter two both scoring short-handed goals. Elliott is on a six-game point streak, and he's won four of his last five starts to push his record for the season to 13-5-4. He carries a 2.81 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage. Elliott gets another favorable matchup on Thursday against the Devils.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
