The Buffalo Sabres defeated the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night by a score of 4-2. Sam Reinhart was a driving force in the win with a goal and two helpers. He now has 39 points in 47 games and has a chance to set career-highs in both goals and assists. Jack Eichel had a goal and an assist. He has 10 points in the last eight games. Through 46 games, he’s now tied his career-high in goals (28). His 61 points also give him a strong shot at beating the 82 points he recorded last season. In goal, Linus Ullmark has good again for the fourth time in five games. He’s 4-1 in that stretch which has seen him allow two goals or fewer in all but one of those games. On the losing side, defenseman Shea Theodore assisted on both Vegas goals. With 28 points in 49 games, he should surpass his career-high of 37 points set last year. Reilly Smith scored his 19th goal, which tied his total from last year and is just six off his career-high from 2015-16.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
