San Jose Sharks forward Patrick Marleau agreed to an undisclosed contract to return for a second stint with the organization on Tuesday. The 40-year-old, now set to lace up his skates for his 22nd NHL season, is coming off a tumultuous summer in which he was traded from Toronto to Carolina and subsequently bought out by the Hurricanes just five days later. Marleau's days of beings a productive top-six forward may have come to a close (he posted just 37 points in 82 games in 2018-2019) but he can still serve as an intriguing depth option on a very deep Sharks team. Off to a rocky start, the Sharks are hoping the three-time All-Star will be able to suit up as early as this weekend.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
