Florida Panthers forward Mike Hoffman picked up a pair of assists in his team's 6-3 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday evening. Despite his team's rough performance on the night, Hoffman was noticeable throughout the contest - also producing a power-play point, an even-rating, six shots on goal and a hit while leading all Panther forwards with 24:30 of time on ice. The Ontario native is off to a great start in his second season in Florida, having now posted six points (including a hat trick on Saturday), three power-play points and 12 shots through just three games. In the midst of a contract-year, Hoffman will look to eclipse his career-season of 2018-2019 in which he posted 70 points (36 goals, 34 assists). He'll be back at it again against the Sabres on Friday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
