Robbie Ray Exits Start With Back Spasms
Robbie Ray (back) left his start Wednesday after just two innings due to back spasms. Ray had allowed one run in two innings before leaving the game with the trainer while warming up for the third inning. This is the second time this month Ray has left a start with a back issue having done so on August third after five innings vs the Nationals. Manager Torey Lovullo said he is hopeful Ray won't miss much time but more will be known after an MRI tomorrow. Ray should be considered day-to-day until more is known about the injury.
