Mike Foltynewicz Looks Good In Rehab Start
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Mike Foltynewicz (elbow) gave up no hits and only two baserunners in five scoreless innings in his rehab start with Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday. He struck out two and walked two and didn't show any issues with his right elbow. Folty's fastball velocity ranged between 92-96 mph. He's expected to make one more rehab start before making his season debut with the Braves. The 27-year-old had a breakout 2018 season (2.85 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, 9.9 K/9), but fantasy owners shouldn't expect a repeat necessarily. Folty's return will likely mean that Kyle Wright will head back to the minors for more seasoning.
