Vancouver Canucks goaltender Michael DiPietro allowed seven goals on 20 shots to the San Jose Sharks on Monday night. It was DiPietro's first NHL appearance and to say it went poorly would be an understatement. The former OHL standout is just a name on the organizational depth chart right now as Jacob Markstrom will continue to see the bulk of the action. DiPietro is still a few seasons away from legitimate fantasy consideration. Bo Horvat and Derrick Pouliot scored both Canucks' goals in the loss while Zack MacEwen picked up an assist in his first career game. The Canucks are now off until Wednesday night when they play the Anaheim Ducks.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
