Winnipeg Jets defenseman Ben Chiarot (lower body) will not play in Monday's game in Philadelphia, and head coach Paul Maurice ruled out defenseman Dustin Byfuglien (lower body) for both Monday and Tuesday's game in Boston. He hasn't ruled the veteran rearguard out for Thursday's game in Columbus yet, as he wants to see him practice first. "I'm gonna say no (for Thursday) because I haven't seen him in a practice yet. If he comes out here and he's flying around, we consider it," Maurice said. "I don't expect him to be." In other words, fantasy owners of Byfuglien should keep him reserved in all fantasy pools and wait at least one more week for a return.--Daniel Dobish
