Los Angeles Kings left wing Ilya Kovalchuk scored the consolation goal in Saturday's heavy 7-1 defeat to Colorado, netting on a power play in the third period. Anze Kopitar and Drew Doughty provided the assists. Kovalchuk's comeback year has been a real roller coaster ride, but he's finally started to pick up points on a regular basis, notching five of them across the last seven games. He's back on the top line and should enjoy plenty of success if he manages to stay there. The Kings have one more game before the All-Star break, a home outing against the Blues on Monday. Kovalchuk has six goals and nine points in 12 career games against St. Louis.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
