Minnesota Wild defenseman Matt Bartkowski, recalled from the AHL earlier in the day, scored a goal in his NHL debut on Saturday in a 3-1 victory against the Winnipeg Jets. He finished with a plus-2 rating, two shots on goal, a blocked shot and a hit over 10:52 of ice time across 18 shifts. Center Charlie Coyle and right wing Eric Fehr also found the back of the net while left wing Zach Parise posted a pair of assists with a plus-2 rating and two blocked shots. Bartkowski is worth keeping an eye on, as he could stick around if he keeps showing a nose for the goal.--Daniel DobishRead More News
