Ottawa Senators defenseman Dylan DeMelo scored a goal and added an assist during a 4-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night. He was a plus-two with two penalty minutes, three shots, and one hit. DeMelo was acquired during the Erik Karlsson trade and has performed better than most expected. The 25-year-old rearguard has two goals, five assists, and a plus-eight rating through 12 games this season.
