Minnesota Wild right wing Mikael Granlund scored a short-handed empty-net goal during a 4-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night. Granlund now has four goals and three assists through nine games this season. The 26-year-old has become one of the offensive leaders on the Wild. Aside from Eric Staal, nobody on the team has recorded more points than him in the past two seasons (136). Granlund sees time on the top power-play unit and his linemates Zach Parise and Mikko Koivu have been surprisingly effective this season. He is a reliable RW2 for fantasy managers.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
