Nashville Predators left-winger Filip Forsberg potted his first goal of the season as his team defeated the New York Rangers in its season opener on Thursday. Forsberg's goal, the Preds' first of the season, was the result of the 24-year-old beating Henrik Lundqvist on the blocker side with a quick snap shot. Entering his fifth full NHL season, Forsberg has established himself as a premiere goal scorer due to his excellent release. The Swedish native is looking to build off a successful 2017-2018 season in which he posted 64 points (26 goals, 38 assists) in 67 games. Cemented on the Preds' top line, Forsberg has a good shot at finishing this season as a top 25 fantasy player if he can stay healthy. He'll take on the Islanders on Saturday in New York.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
