Adam Scott matched his best major finish since the Open Championship in 2013, finishing in third place. The Aussie put together a brilliant display of golf all week. Scott gained 12.809 strokes total compared to the field, which was good for third best. He also managed to gain 3.666 strokes putting, a statistic that has caused Scott trouble since the anchoring ban was put into place in 2016. Scott, who was entered into the Wyndham Championship this week, has withdrawn himself from the field but will be back for the first week of the FedExCup Playoffs next week. Scott is currently ranked 70th in the FedExCup standings and will need to strike lightning in a bottle if he wants to stick around for all four events. --Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
