Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (knee) ran on a treadmill on Monday and might try to hit in the cages Tuesday or Wednesday, according to manager A.J. Hinch. Altuve is making progress, but there remains no timetable for him to return. The star second baseman has been out since late July and was hitting .329/.392/.464 with nine home runs, 46 RBI, 14 stolen bases and 64 runs scored on the year.
