Ronald Jones II Struggling In Pass Protection
Ronald Jones II has had his good and bad days in training camp, but he's struggling mostly with pass protection. He also only had 32 catches in three years in college. "They've improved since he's been here,'' running backs coach Tim Spencer said. "They didn't throw him a lot of balls at USC. But his hands have improved, and if he keeps on improving, that speed is something else." His lack of experience in pass protection and catching the ball may prove troublesome early on and in PPR leagues, but Jones has the most upside of this backfield and should lead the team in touches by the end of the season over Peyton Barber.
