Houston Astros outfielder George Springer is slashing a scorching .338/.377/.508 in the month of May. He only has five extra-base hits in that span but is hitting everything in sight despite a 4.3% walk rate during this span. The scary concept is that Springer hasn't even tapped into his potential at the plate through the first two months this season. Springer can go on home run streaks with the best in the game and has not ripped off that kind of run yet. One area for improvement is the fact that he is slugging only .428 against right-handed pitching after posting a .513 mark with 25 home runs last season against them. Springer continues to be a consistent fantasy force but his best days may still be ahead of him offensively.--Joey C - RotoBaller
