Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts in Friday's 3-1 loss to the Mets. Goldschmidt has been the poster boy for the Diamondbacks offensive struggles of late, going 2-for-21 over the last week. He looks lost at the plate, striking out in 31.6 percent of his at-bat, nine percent higher than last season. His BABIP is lower than normal, but owners shouldn't expect it to rise with a 21 percent soft contact rate. Goldschmidt will have another chance to turn it around Saturday against Steven Matz.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
