Houston Astros outfielder Jake Marisnick's season continues to go down the tubes, posting only three hits over his last 22 at-bats to drag his average down to .141. For a player who hit 16 home runs last season and hit .243, this has been nothing short of a disappointment to begin Marisnick's season. He is an excellent outfielder, but his struggles mostly can be pinned on his high swing-and-miss rates. He has already racked up 41 strikeouts this season through 85 at-bats after whiffing 90 times in only 230 at-bats last year. Marisnick will continue to get chances as a rotational outfielder but is nothing more than a late-inning defensive replacement right now.--Joey C - RotoBaller
