Kansas City Royals utility player Cheslor Cuthbert left Monday’s game with back spasms in the eighth inning. It does not sound like Cuthbert will miss much time, but he might miss a couple of games. Cuthbert is struggling in 2018, as he has hit three home runs in his 114 plate appearances, and he is hitting for just a .200 batting average. Some of that batting average can be attributed to some bad fortune, as Cuthbert has just a .221 BABIP. Cuthbert is currently on the weak side of a platoon, which means he has very little fantasy value outside of AL-only formats.--Ben Rolfe
