Gary Woodland’s run of poor form continued last week at the Players Championship, where he failed to make the weekend. Rounds of 74 and 72 condemned Woodland to his fourth consecutive missed cut on tour. Woodland struggled particularly on the greens, where he ended the week losing 3.5 strokes putting to the field. Since winning the Phoenix Open earlier in the year, Woodland has missed the cut at six of the eight events he’s played, and his highest finish in this stretch came at the Honda Classic when he finished T49.--Gianni
