DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/28/18): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on March 28, 2018. Tom Vecchio's NBA DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have an eight game slate and there are some interesting options across the board. Not a ton of injuries as of right now, so lineup construction should be pretty straight forward, which could make it difficult to get some of the bigger name players into the same lineup.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/28/18.

These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options, to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings. Feel free to stop by the Hoops Chat Room or on Twitter @DFS_Tom, let's get rolling.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Shabazz Napier - PG, POR @ MEM (DK - $3,800)

Napier makes a super cheap option at point guard tonight, and will almost certainly be getting the start. Portland starting point guard, Damian Lillard, will be out due to the birth of his child. This means Napier could take over the starting role, and at his price, doesn't need to do a whole lot to reach value. When Lillard is off the court, Napier has a usage rate sitting at 23%, along with averaging 0.88 fantasy points per minute. Yes, this isn't the most ideal matchup, since they are playing Memphis, meaning its a pace down spot, but at under $4K, he really only about 19 DraftKings points to reach 5x value.

D'Angelo Russell - SG, BKN @ ORL (DK - $6,300)

Russell is up against the Magic, who are giving up 42 DraftKings points per game to shooting guards, which is fifth worst in the league, presenting him with a great matchup. He has scored 33 or more DraftKings points in four of his last five games, and has one triple-double in that span. This is a slight pace up spot for the Nets, and with Russell's ability to hit the three ball, he makes solid tournament play.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

LeBron James - SF, CLE @ CHA (DK - $11,600)

Play Lebon James tonight. Not sure there is a player on this slate who is as consistent as he is, along with having massive upside. Right now, the Cavaliers are barley holding onto the third playoff spot in the east, and they NEED to be winning games. Tonight, they are up against the Hornets, in a game which has an over-under set at 229 points, which is massive and plenty of scoring to go around. James has 64 or more DraftKings points in six of his last seven games, not including last night. As of now, its unclear if Kevin Love will play in this game due to an injury from last night, so if he is out, it should mean even MORE touches for LeBron on offense, not that he needs it.

Julius Randle - PF, LAL vs DAL (DK - $8,100)

Randle is playing very well recently, and makes a solid cash game option on this slate. He has 35 DraftKings points or more in eight of his last 10 games, and has eight double-doubles over that span. Simply producing night in, and night out, so you want him on your team. Randle and the Lakers are up against the Mavericks, who are giving up 47 DraftKings points per game to power forwards, and are simply so bad a rebounding the ball. This gives him the opportunity to continue this double-double streak he is on, and provide value outside of scoring pure points.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Marquese Chriss - C, PHO vs LAC (DK - $4,300)

As of right now, Alex Len is listed as questionable for tonight's game, and with Tyson Chandler still out, Chriss could see some extra minutes. When those players are off the court, he has a usage rate sitting at 21%, along with averaging 1.05 fantasy points per minute. There is no guarantee he will see the starting lineup, but he has played 24 minutes or more in three straight games, and has been at or over one fantasy point per minute in two of them. He is offers a bit of savings, and has  good matchup against the Clippers, who are on the second night of a back to back.
