Luke List lost in a one-hole playoff at the Honda Classic as he attempted to win his first ever PGA Tour event. A spectacular 32 on the back nine got him into the playoff with Justin Thomas at seven-under, but his tee shot on the par-five 18th went wide right and gave him little options. He eventually left himself 25 feet for birdie and two-putted for par, but lost when Thomas sank his short birdie putt. "Obviously, it hurts right now," List said. "But I think that when I look back on it, I'll be proud of the way I hung in there." List is not entered in this week's World Golf Championship event and will likely next play at the Valspar Championship in two weeks.--cmangano
