BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team PPR Leagues

ANALYSIS: With Bilal Powell out last week, Matt Forte and Elijah McGuire were expected to split carries in the backfield. Neither had a productive game on the ground, each rushing for 22 yards a piece. However, McGuire was not targeted once in the receiving game whereas Forte was targeted eight times, hauling in each of them for 59 yards. That gives Forte 14 receptions on the season for 117 yards, compared to only 116 yards on the ground. Forte has not found the end zone yet this season, but his consistent usage as a pass-catching back should give him a nice floor in PPR formats.
Powell is expected to be back starting Week 7 against the Dolphins, which makes Forte's role going forward a bit murky. If he is still used as a receiving back he will hold value in deeper PPR formats even if he does not see a ton of carries out of the backfield. He is worth a speculative add in PPR leagues where he is available, and holds RB3/Flex appeal in deeper formats.
