FanDuel Quarterback - Week 17 DFS Picks

Aaron Rodgers (at DET, $8,800)

I’m leaning towards using quarterbacks that are playing for something this week. That includes Rodgers, who will be vying for a division title Sunday night in Detroit. He has looked good this season, as he’s posting huge lines on a weekly basis. He’s coming off an elite game against the Vikings, and he gets a good matchup against the Lions, who he dominated earlier this season. There are plenty of cheap options this week with players sitting that it will be easy to fit Rodgers into your lineups.

Kirk Cousins (vs NYG, $7,900)

The Redskins are another team that controls their own fate, as they are playing in a “win and in” situation. Cousins has been a great fantasy option this season, and there are talks that the Giants will be resting a few starters on defense. He is a high upside fantasy option, and he’s coming off a big game against the Bears. This game will also likely feature plenty of points. Cousins is another great option on this slate.

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 17 DFS Picks

David Johnson (at LA, $9,300)

The Cardinals won’t be playing for anything this week, but David Johnson will be. He’s only 159 yards away from recording 1,000 receiving yards to go with his 1,200 rushing yards. That’s quite a task for a running back that only has one 100 yard receiving game this season, but it could give the Cardinals another reason to get him a few more targets this week. He has been a fantasy monster the entire season, and he will likely use this week to make his final statement. He’s an elite option in all leagues.

DeAngelo Williams (vs CLE, $4,500)

The Steelers are expected to rest their “Big Three” this week, which will thrust Williams into a starting role. In two starts this season, he totaled 237 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns, 10 receptions, 66 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown. If he were the starter all season, he would be one of the best options in the NFL. He will be locked into a big role, and he gets an elite matchup against the Browns. Williams is arguably one of the best plays on the slate for his price tag.

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 17 DFS Picks

Michael Thomas (at ATL, $6,700)

Thomas isn’t going to win the Rookie of the Year award, but he has had an extremely successful first season. He is a receiver that comes with great upside, as he has multiple games with 20 or more fantasy points this season. He gets a great matchup against the Falcons, who he played well against earlier this season. Thomas continues to be a major touchdown threat, and he’s one of Drew Brees’ go-to targets in the red zone. He’s an outstanding tournament option this week.

Allen Robinson (at IND, $6,100)

This has been a tough season for Robinson, but the Jags made a point to get him the ball last week. They moved him across formations, and he was able to record nine catches for 147 yards on 12 targets. Robinson gets a great matchup against the Colts this week, and he should continue to see plenty of opportunities as the Jags want to give him confidence to end the year. He is an extremely high upside player, but he’s a bit too risky for cash games. He’s a tournament only option.

FanDuel Tight End - Week 17 DFS Picks

Travis Kelce (at SD, $6,800)

Kelce has been on fire recently, as he has recorded at least 100 receiving yards in five of his last six games. He posted a huge 11-160-1 line against the Broncos in his last game, while he has been a huge part of the Chiefs offense in the second half of the season. He gets a decent matchup against the Chargers, and he should be peppered with targets this week. It’s surprising that he isn’t the most expensive tight end on the slate. He can be used in all leagues in the final week of the season.

FanDuel Defense - Week 17 DFS Picks

Philadelphia Eagles D/ST (vs DAL, $4,300)

The Eagles defense started out strong before struggling quite a bit in the middle of the season. They have heated back up recently, as they have six takeaways in the last three weeks. They get a matchup against the Cowboys, who are only expected to play their starters for a couple of series. That means they will face off against Mark Sanchez at quarterback, which only adds value to Philly’s defense. They opened this game as -6.5 point favorites in a game set at only 42.5 points. They are still extremely cheap, and they are a great option on this slate.
