DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (11/20/16): NBA DFS Advice

The 2016-’17 NBA season is officially underway. The first few weeks of the season always offer up tough choices, as decisions are largely based off of a small sample size.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/20/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

Editor's Note: New users that sign up on FantasyAces, make a $20 deposit, and enter any game will receive our full season NBA (or NFL) Premium Pass for free (includes DFS Cheat Sheets). DraftKings DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook – PG, vs IND ($12,000)

Westbrook has been playing as well as anyone in the NBA over the last 10 days. Over that span, he’s averaging 33.2 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 10.3 assists per game. He’s a triple double threat every time he steps on the court, and he gets a good matchup against the Pacers, who are playing much faster this season. Westbrook isn’t going to come cheap, and he can be used in all leagues if you can afford his price tag.

Rodney Hood – SG, @DEN ($5,700)

Rodney Hood hasn’t been play very well recently, but he does come with plenty of upside. He’s a good scorer, who can add a few peripheral stats each game. He gets a good matchup against the Nuggets, who have really struggled against the shooting guard this season. It’s a limited slate, and Hood has displayed enough upside to be used in tournaments tonight.

Darren Collison – PG, vs TOR ($5,100)

Collison recently returned from suspension for the Kings, and he has looked good through five starts. In those starts, he is averaging 12.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.2 steals in 30.0 minutes per game. He hasn’t been starting, but that hasn’t stopped his production, and he gets a great matchup against the Raptors tonight. Toronto has been one of the worst teams in the NBA against the point guard, and Collison can be used in all leagues for his low price tag.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

DeMarcus Cousins – PF/C, vs TOR ($10,400)

Cousins’ price tag has dropped a bit because of his struggles early in the season, but he has really been heating up recently. He’s averaging 62.3 fantasy points per game over his last three games, and he’s coming off an elite 73.25 fantasy point game against the Clippers. He gets a matchup against the Raptors, and the Kings will need Boogie’s scoring to stay with Toronto in this game. Generally, Cousins is best suited for tournaments, but he can be used in all leagues tonight.

Wilson Chandler – SF, vs UTA ($5,700)

Chandler has quietly been one of the best fantasy options for the Nuggets this season. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging an impressive 19.3 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. He gets a solid matchup against the Jazz, who have struggled against the small forward, and Chandler has consistently been exceeding value recently. He can be used in all leagues for his price tag tonight.

Andre Roberson – SG/SF, vs IND ($4,100)

Roberson is far from an elite option, but he has been playing well recently, and he comes with a low price tag. He’s both guard and forward eligible, which adds a bit of value to him, as well. He gets a good matchup against the Pacers, who have been playing at a much faster pace this season, and Roberson can be used in all leagues for the Thunder tonight.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Rudy Gobert – C, @DEN ($6,300)

Gobert has been playing extremely well recently, as he has double doubled in four of his last five games. He gets a solid matchup against the Nuggets, and Gobert is the type of player that can contribute in multiple categories, specifically blocks and steals, which gives him great upside. He still has a fairly low price tag, and Gobert can be used in all leagues because of the lack of other options tonight.

Robin Lopez – C, @LAL ($5,000)

Lopez got off to a slow start, but he has looked outstanding recently. He has been a consistent double double threat for the Bulls, and he gets a good matchup against the Lakers tonight. Lopez should continue his double doubling ways, as the Lakers don’t have anyone that can stop him in the post. He still has an extremely low price tag, and Lopez can be used in all leagues.
