Yahoo! Quarterback - Week 6 DFS Picks

Matt Stafford (vs LA, $32)

Stafford is fairly cheap this week and I love his matchup with the Rams at home. There are certainly better options, but Matt is the cheapest one that I like, so he gets the write up. Not only are the Rams coming into Detroit injured, as Robert Quinn and Trumaine Johnson are both questionable, but they're also allowing 242 passing yards per game. I believe that number goes up this week as Stafford nears 300 yards with multiple touchdown throws.

Yahoo! Running Backs - Week 6 DFS Picks

Christine Michael (vs ATL, $24)

Michael has a juicy matchup at home this week as the Falcons come into Seattle. Atlanta has allowed the fifth most points to opposing backfields this season and Seattle will no doubt look to control the clock and run the ball even more than usual to keep it away from the red hot Falcons offense. When you also factor in that Michael has been a top 12 scorer in every week thus far and that he's under $25, we have a bit of a no-brainer here folks.

Lamar Miller (vs IND, $28)

Lamar Miller has been steady and reliable this season despite the fact that he's yet to score a touchdown. I believe that will change this week and he finally gets into the end zone. Even if he doesn't he should be a solid play as he's received 47% of Houston's touches this season, the second highest share of team touches for any running back in the league. It also bodes well that the Colts have allowed 15 or more points to six different running backs on the season, the most in the league. On top of that 41.1 yards per drive, which is also the most in the league.

Yahoo! Wide Receivers - Week 6 DFS Picks

Tavon Austin (at DET, $17)

Austin has managed to accumulate a touch or a target on 22% of the Ram's offensive snaps, which is the highest total for any wide receiver. The fact that he's just $17 makes him a must start and a terrific value play. While LA will no doubt look to get Gurley going this week, Detroit happens to be the only team that is yet to allow a rushing TD. This bodes well for Austin as LA is more likely to be forced to score through the air.

Cameron Meredith (vs JAX, $14)

Meredith stepped in for Kevin White last week and made a huge impact as he totaled nine catches for 130 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets. He did that while playing 93% of the Bears snaps and receiving nearly 30% of their targets. This week he'll face a Jaguars defense that is 27th in efficiency to WR2's and is quite cheap at $14. For all those reasons he makes for a strong value option at WR.

Yahoo! Tight End - Week 6 DFS Picks

Travis Kelce (at OAK, $23)

Oakland has allowed a league high 331 passing yards per game this season as well as 10.1 yards per target to opposing tight ends, which is also the highest in the league. That alone is enough to make Kelce a magnificent play. When you add in that Travis has been a top 10 option in three of his four games it makes this matchup even better. I think Kelce will explode this week and is a great play in every format; so join me and get him in all of your lineups.

Yahoo! Defense - Week 6 DFS Picks

Buffalo Bills D/ST (vs SF, $16)

The Bills are nine point favorites at home against a San Francisco offense that has struggled mightily this season. They've been so bad that they're turning to their backup QB, Colin Kaepernick, this Sunday. While Blaine Gabbert might have provided even more points for the Bills defense Kaepernick will do just fine in his stead. The fact that the 49ers rank dead last in yards per game isn't going to change that much with a QB change. The Bills D/ST is averaging a healthy 13.8 fantasy points per game and I expect that number to rise this weekend. Buffalo has managed three or more sacks in four of their five games this season. The 49ers rank last in the league at pass attempts per game, so that number could come down, but Buffalo will no doubt stack the box and force Kaepernick and the 49ers into throwing mistakes as a result.
