Analysis: Wood has now pitched 171.2 and 189.2 innings in the past two seasons while posting an ERA in the high 2.00's and then the high 3.00's. Although Wood's K/9 dropped to 6.6 last season both ZiPS and Steamer project a more useful mid-7.00's K/9 this season.
If Wood is again able to log 160+ innings this season while posting an ERA in the mid-to-high 3.00's that would be very useful while pitching for the very solid LA Dodgers. If you need some help in your fake team's rotation and Wood is available in your league's free agent pool you should consider making the addition.
