BALLER MOVE: Draft in Rounds 4-6 as WR3 with WR2 upside
CURRENT ADP: 132 Standard, 99 PPR
ANALYSIS: Ladies and gentleman, the average draft position of Davante Adams is about to skyrocket. With the injury news today of Jordy Nelson, who looks to have a torn ACL from the initial diagnosis, Davante Adams immediately becomes an even bigger fantasy football draft sleeper.

With his expanded role, Adams should be viewed a WR3 with WR2 upside, especially in PPR leagues. The Packers have one of the best offenses in football, and Adams will look to absorb the targets and production that Jordy Nelson is leaving behind. Last season, Nelson racked up 98 catches on 151 targets, good for 1,519 receiving yards and 13 TDs. Of course it isn't guaranteed that Adams will produce these kind of gaudy numbers, but he's been highly touted for some time and will now get his opportunity to shine for the Packers and fantasy football owners.
If the middle rounds come around on draft day and Adams is still on the board, be sure to draft him for your teams. He can return a monster value for your fantasy teams, regardless of where you draft him. Chances are, he will produce at a higher value than what you have to pay to get him on draft day. If of course Jordy Nelson isn't out for the season, then we will be updating our outlook for Adams.
