ANALYSIS: This past week was full of surprises in the NFL from roster cuts to player suspensions. Speaking of suspensions the Denver Broncos discovered that their kicker, Matt Prater, was suspended for 4 games. In light of this news the Broncos went out to find a kicker who can fill in for Prater while he's suspended and traded for Brandon McManus. Brandon McManus is widely an unknown as he's a rookie but did post in college a mark of 72% field goals made out of 83 attempts at Temple. Last season with Peyton Manning leading the #1 offense Denver Broncos, Matt Prater reaped the benefits to become the #2 kicker in total points for fantasy owners. With Prater out of the picture for 4 weeks, McManus will get those same opportunities to contribute to your fantasy roster. If you are looking for a cheap high reward Kicker McManus is a nice target at the end of fantasy football drafts. At minimum McManus is a nice waiver pickup to stream for the first 4 weeks of the season.
