Joshua Van secured his first flyweight title defense by defeating Tatsuro Taira via fifth-round TKO in the co-main event of UFC 328 on Saturday. It was a back-and-forth fight where both men gave their all, but in the end, Van's striking was too much as he finished Taira in the fifth round of one of the best flyweight fights in MMA history. In 21:32 of action, Van landed a takedown and 131 significant strikes. Van's next fight is most likely going to be a rematch with former flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja. --Alen Kurbasic
