Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 15:

Chris Rodriguez Jr., RB, Washington Commanders

Washington Commanders running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. rushed for 52 yards on 10 carries in the Commanders' 31-0 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. He was the only somewhat bright spot in what was a really tough afternoon for the Commanders team. Rodriguez has performed well of late, scoring nine or more fantasy points in three of his last five games, but has limited upside because he is not earning any of the running back receiving work, is touchdown dependent, and projects for 10-15 carries depending on game flow.

In Week 14, the Commanders fell behind early to the Vikings, and he never really got much of a chance later in the game. Week 15 presents a good opportunity for Rodriguez, as the Commanders travel to New York to take on the Giants, who allow the second-most points to opposing running backs on the season. Due to his projected volume and limited receiving floor, Rodriguez will be an RB3 heading into Week 15, and should not be on the waiver wire in most 12 or more team formats.

Tony Pollard, RB, Tennessee Titans

Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard had 25 carries, 161 rushing yards, and two rushing touchdowns during Sunday's Week 14 win over the Cleveland Browns. His touchdowns came on long runs from 32 and 65 yards out, respectively. Pollard's big performance seemed to come out of nowhere. Over the last three weeks, he struggled to amass more than a dozen touches per game, averaged fewer than 4.5 yards per carry, didn't score a touchdown, and essentially split snaps 50/50 with Tyjae Spears.

However, that entire dynamic changed this Sunday as Pollard shattered his previous season-high rushing attempt total (20) and posted his best fantasy performance of the season. Pollard played well early in the game, so it seems like Tennessee simply rode the hot hand and kept him in the game as long as he continued to play well. That same trend should continue in Week 15 against the San Francisco 49ers, and Pollard has the early advantage over Spears, given his excellent showing this Sunday. He's back into the RB2 tier for Week 15.

Jaylen Wright, RB, Miami Dolphins

Miami Dolphins running back Jaylen Wright had the best game of his career in Week 14, recording 24 carries for 107 yards and a touchdown against the New York Jets. After star Dolphins running back De'Von Achane (ribs) left the game in the second quarter with a rib injury, Wright got a chance to lead his team's backfield. Wright's elevation to the RB1 role was a bit of a surprise, as he's spent most of 2025 working behind both Achane and rookie back Ollie Gordon II.

However, it appears Miami may be more comfortable keeping Gordon II in a secondary role, even if Achane is sidelined. The severity of Achane's injury is currently unclear. Should he miss time, Wright could provide starting-caliber fantasy production at the running back position. He's a must-add player off the waiver wire heading into his Week 15 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Blake Corum, RB, Los Angeles Rams

Los Angeles Rams second-year running back out of Michigan, Blake Corum, dominated once again on Sunday, rushing for 128 yards on 12 carries (10.7 yards per carry) and two touchdowns in the Rams' 45-17 rout over the Arizona Cardinals. Corum has now scored three touchdowns in the past two weeks and has rushed for 209 yards on 19 carries over his past two weeks. Kyren Williams is still the starter in this explosive Rams offense, but Corum is making his case for a potential takeover and to become a league winner down the stretch.

The Rams have publicly stated that they are interested in limiting Williams' workload as the team prepares for its playoff run. Regardless, Corum has seen his workload ramp up over the past five weeks, and he is one of, if not the top handcuff, in fantasy football going into the fantasy playoffs. Even without the handcuff, he is providing RB3/flex value based on his pure production and projected 8-10 carries and 30-35 percent snap share. He is a must-add off the waiver wire if he is currently out there in any of your leagues.

Kenneth Gainwell, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers

Across 13 games this season, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Kenneth Gainwell has recorded 657 scrimmage yards and six touchdowns on 130 touches. The 26-year-old has recorded just 35 rushing yards over the last two weeks, and he's been held to rushing yards or less in five out of his last six games. However, Gainwell has emerged as a safety blanket for Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the passing game.

Over the last four weeks, Gainwell has hauled in 21 receptions for 163 yards and two touchdowns on 24 targets. Pittsburgh is splitting backfield snaps between Gainwell and Jaylen Warren, which limits the upside of both players. Still, Gainwell's role as a receiver makes him a viable flex option for fantasy managers. Heading into his Week 15 matchup against the Miami Dolphins, Gainwell is worth rostering in PPR leagues with 10 or more teams.

Devin Singletary, RB, New York Giants

In his last game before his team's Week 14 bye, New York Giants running back Devin Singletary recorded 102 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 15 touches against the New England Patriots. Heading into his Week 15 matchup against the Washington Commanders, Singletary has recorded double-digit touches in five straight games.

With Giants running back Cam Skattebo (ankle) on Injured Reserve, Singletary and Tyrone Tracy Jr. (hip) have been splitting backfield work in New York. Tracy Jr. suffered a hip injury in Week 13 against New England that forced him to leave the game early, but it's not expected to lead to missed time. Still, the Giants could limit Tracy Jr.'s usage, which would mean more touches for Singletary. In fantasy leagues with 10 or more teams, Singletary is worth targeting on the waiver wire heading into Week 15.
