Jakobi Meyers Won't Play on Sunday Against Chiefs
Jakobi Meyers (knee, toe) has been ruled out for the Week 7 game against the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs. With their bye coming next week, the Raiders are erring on the side of caution with Meyers. He did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday. Still, he was able to practice in a limited capacity on Friday, which means he should be ready to return when the Raiders resume play in Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Raiders will also be without star tight end Brock Bowers (knee) for a third straight game on Sunday, so Vegas will be looking to receiver Tre Tucker and tight end Michael Mayer to step up, in addition to rookie receivers Dont'e Thornton Jr. and Jack Bech. Meyers, who asked for a trade earlier this season, has had a season to forget so far in 2025.
