Adonai Mitchell "Going to Have to Earn" More Opportunities After Costly Week 4 Fumble
Adonai Mitchell is "going to have to earn" more opportunities going forward after his costly fumble in the team's Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Mitchell recorded three catches for 96 yards on four targets against Los Angeles, but dropped the ball just before crossing the goal line on what should have been a 70-plus-yard touchdown. The 22-year-old has logged seven catches for 137 yards on 12 targets through four games this season. He saw increased playing time in Week 4 with Colts wideout Alec Pierce (concussion) sidelined. If Pierce returns for the team's Week 5 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, Mitchell could have a hard time getting on the field.
