Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports that "people I spoke to on the Chargers are expecting" quarterback Justin Herbert (hand) to play in Week 14 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Herbert suffered a metacarpal fracture in his left hand during his team's Week 13 win over the Las Vegas Raiders and had surgery this past Monday. He's been limited in practice this week, but it sounds as though he will try to give it a go against Philadelphia on Monday night. The 27-year-old has completed 66.9% of his passes for 2,842 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions across 12 starts so far this season. If Herbert suffers a setback and is unable to go, Trey Lance would take over under center for Los Angeles. If active, Herbert profiles as a mid-tier fantasy QB2 in Week 14.--Will Brady
