Zach's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Saturday, 9/13/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Welcome Back, RotoBallers! An awesome September Saturday of sports includes all 30 teams in Major League Baseball on the diamonds at some point throughout the day. About half the games are early, with seven games scheduled for the main DFS fantasy baseball slate under the lights, which gets underway at 7:10. With 14 teams in the player pool and some favorable matchups, the evening slate is loaded with options to choose from. Four of the seven matchups are divisional contests, while the other three are all interleague tilts.
The weather for the evening slate looks clear once again with no real precipitation concerns and gentle breezes. The wind is forecast to be blowing out in San Francisco and Sacramento, which should give hitters a little bit of a boost.
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 9/13/2025, with the slate starting at 7:07 PM EST. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Hunter Greene, CIN at ATH ($9.1K DK/$10.7K FD)
Greene is the most expensive pitcher on the board on FanDuel but only the sixth-most expensive on DraftKings, where he represents excellent value. He and the Reds are just 1.5 games back of the Mets for the third and final NL Wild Card spot, and they'll look to close that gap against the A's on Saturday night. Greene has been outstanding in four of his five starts since coming off the injured list.
After missing two months, he has gone 2-1 in five starts with a 2.35 ERA, 2.72 FIP, and 40 strikeouts in 30 2/3 innings. He had a pair of 12-strikeout games in those five starts, earning 28.65 DraftKings points and 50 FanDuel points against the Angels and 39.95 DraftKings points and 64 FanDuel points against the Mets in his most recent start.

Greene's strikeout potential gives him a high ceiling even in the homer-friendly environment of Sutter Health Park. The Athletics have been boom-or-bust on offense lately and have scored three runs or fewer in four of their last five.
Bryce Elder, ATL vs. HOU ($5.5K DK/$7.6K FD)
The Braves have had a brutal season filled with injuries and underperformance that dropped them well out of the playoff race. Elder struggled badly earlier in the season and still has an ugly 5.35 ERA for the year, but his 4.14 xFIP shows that he has been a little unlucky. He leads the team in wins and innings this season and has made more starts than any other starter as well.
After his struggles earlier this season, Elder has locked in and looked very strong over his last four starts. He has a 1.37 ERA and 2.72 FIP in those four outings, with 21 strikeouts in 26 1/3 innings. Each of those four starts has been against a potential playoff team as well, since he faced the Phillies, Mets, and Cubs (twice). In each of those four outings, Elder had over 16 DraftKings points and over 30 FanDuel points, which makes him a great bargain at this very low salary as he takes the mound at home against the Astros, who enter the night tied for the AL West lead with the Mariners.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Bryan Woo, SEA ($10.2K DK/$10.6K FD)
- Jacob Misiorowski, MIL ($8.7K DK/$8.9K FD)
- Ryne Nelson, ARI ($7K DK/$8.4K FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Manny Machado, 3B - SD ($5.3K DK/$3.5K FD)
The Padres are in a great matchup on Saturday night at home (more below), and Machado is one of the best pay-up plays in the infield. The 33-year-old is hitting a solid .272 with 23 homers and 13 stolen bases on the season and has been very durable, playing in 147 games.
He homered on Friday, going 2-for-3 with a walk for 21 DraftKings points and 27.9 FanDuel points. That was his third homer in his last 10 games, and he's now averaging 9.6 DraftKings points per game against the Rockies this season.
Geraldo Perdomo, SS - ARI ($4.5K DK/$3.7K FD)
Perdomo has been excellent for the Diamondbacks this year, truly having a breakout season in his fifth year in the majors at 25 years old. He normally hit near the bottom of the order the last few years, but has moved to the leadoff spot on most nights. He's hitting .285 on the season after going 1-for-2 with a walk, a hit-by-pitch, a stolen base, and his 19th homer of the season on Friday night in Minnesota.

Perdomo has added 26 stolen bases to his 19 homers, both career highs, while hitting .284 with a .362 wOBA. His previous career best for a full season was a .319 wOBA from 2023, when he had six homers and 16 stolen bases. While the Diamondbacks sold off pieces at the deadline, they still have an exciting young core, and Perdomo has established himself as a big piece of the team's plan moving forward.
Sal Stewart, 1B on DK, 3B on FD - CIN ($2.6K DK/$2.3K FD)
Stewart did not play on Friday in the series opener in Sacramento but will likely return to action on Saturday in a good matchup against veteran Luis Severino. Stewart is one of the Reds' top hitting prospects, and MLB Pipeline rated him as the top prospect in the team's entire system and the No. 30 prospect in all of baseball. He's still a bargain since he's so new to the majors, but he brings a high ceiling at his affordable salary.
In his 118 games in the minors this season, the 21-year-old hit .309 with 20 homers, 17 stolen bases, 80 RBI, and a .413 wOBA. He has played eight games since his promotion, going 4-for-24 (.167), but with two of those hits being home runs. If he's back in the batting order against Severino, he'll be a solid cheap play with a good ceiling and a very exciting young player to watch the rest of the year as he helps his Reds chase the playoffs.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Nick Kurtz, 1B - ATH ($5.8K DK/$4K FD)
- Luis Arraez, 1B/2B - SD ($4.3K DK/$2.7K FD)
- Brendan Donovan, 2B on DK, 3B/2B/SS/OF on FD - STL ($3.3K DK/$2.7K FD)
- Nacho Alvarez Jr., 3B on DK, SS/2B/3B on FD - ATL ($2.6K DK/$2.5K FD)
- Tim Tawa, 1B/OF on DK, 1B/2B/OF on FD ($3K DK/$2.1K FD)
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Julio Rodriguez, OF - SEA ($5.2K DK/$3.9K FD)
Rodriguez has put on his typical second-half press to the season to help his Mariners climb back to the top of the AL West. He has once again overcome a slow start to put together strong season-long numbers. He's hitting .269 with 30 homers and 26 stolen bases this season. He's hitting .317 over his last 21 games with six homers, three stolen bases, and a wOBA just under .400.
On Saturday, Rodriguez and the M's face rookie lefty Mitch Farris, who has looked solid in his first two starts for the Angels. Rodriguez has hit lefties hard this year, though, with 33% of his home runs in just 27% of his at-bats on that side of his splits. He has hit safely in 16 of his last 18 games with eight multi-hit games during that span.
Jackson Chourio, OF - MIL ($4.9K DK/$3.5K FD)
Chourio missed a month due to a strained hamstring, but he seems to have found his rhythm at the plate and is back to being a great fantasy option in the outfield. Chourio has hit safely in five straight, going 8-for-20 (.400) with a pair of doubles, a pair of home runs, and five RBI.
In his career, Chourio is 4-for-11 with a double and a home run against Cardinals' starter Sonny Gray, and he is a .366 hitter in his career against St. Louis with five homers and 18 RBI in 20 games against the Brew Crew's division rival. Chourio hasn't been aggressive on the basepaths since his return, but his bat is back enough to make him a strong midrange option to target his Saturday.
Bryce Teodosio, OF - LAA ($2.2K DK/$2.3K FD)
I'm coming back to Teodosio for a second straight day since he remains extremely affordable and continues to produce. The 26-year-old hit .330 in the minors this year with a .404 wOBA and 10 stolen bases in just 25 games, so there is some potential production if he can convert that success to the majors.
He extended his hitting streak to seven games on Friday night, going 1-for-2 with another stolen base. During that stretch, he went 8-for-23 (.348) with two stolen bases, two doubles, and two triples for an average of 8.3 DraftKings points per game. His season numbers are still low, but his recent production gives him enough upside to make him a strong cheap play on Saturday.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Byron Buxton, OF - MIN ($6.2K/$4.1K FD)
- Fernando Tatis Jr., OF - SD ($5.7K DK/$3.6K FD)
- Austin Hays, OF - CIN ($3.8K/$3.1K FD)
- Lawrence Butler, OF - ATH ($3.6K/$2.9K FD)
- Austin Martin, OF on DK, 2B/OF on FD - MIN ($3.4K/$2.7K FD)
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
1. San Diego Padres (Implied Run Total - 5.6) vs. Colorado Rockies (Bradley Blalock)
The Rockies are recalling Blalock to take the spot of Chase Dollander (knee) in the rotation. Blalock has been smashed in the majors and in Triple-A this season, posting an 8.62 ERA and 1.79 WHIP in 47 innings in the majors and a 9.37 ERA in 16 1/3 innings since heading back to Triple-A in mid-August. The Padres scored 12 runs in just 3 2/3innings against Blalock earlier this year, with Gavin Sheets and Jake Cronenworth homering off him.
Favorite Combo: Tatis, Machado, Arraez, Jackson Merrill, Cronenworth
2. Cincinnati Reds (Implied Run Total - 4.7) at Athletics (Luis Severino)
Severino has a 6.34 ERA and 4.24 FIP in his 13 home starts this season, and the weather should be offense-friendly for the Reds in Sacramento with warm temperatures and the wind blowing out. The Reds were shut out on Friday but should be in a good spot to bounce back Saturday.
Favorite Combo: Hays, Stewart, TJ Friedl, Noelvi Marte, Elly De La Cruz
