Zhang Mingyang suffered a second-round TKO loss to Johnny Walker in the co-main event of UFC Shanghai on Saturday. After Walker poorly shot for a takedown, Mingyang got on top of Walker and punished him with ground-and-pound. However, in the second round, Walker changed his strategy and started throwing calf kicks, which hurt Mingyang, resulting in him ending up on the canvas. Walker quickly followed up with elbows and ground-and-pound until the referee stopped the fight. In 7:37 of action, Mingyang landed 20 significant strikes. This was Mingyang's first loss in the promotion and his first MMA loss since 2019.--Alen Kurbasic
