Detroit Tigers infield prospect John Peck has been promoted to Double-A Erie after a strong showing at High-A throughout 2025. The Tigers' 17th-ranked prospect slashed .307/.364/.452 with 10 home runs and 17 steals, while his 115 hits and 78 runs led the entire Midwest League. The 23-year-old former seventh-round draft pick strikes out a bit more than average, with a career K% in the minors of 24.6 percent, but has been able to hit well despite that, recording a career .290 batting average. It will be interesting to see if he can continue that trend as he moves up the ranks, and if so, he should be able to debut in the majors by 2027.--Jarod Rupp
