Luis Robert Jr. Back in Action Against Cardinals
Luis Robert Jr. (thumb) is back on the field for Tuesday's game against the visiting St. Louis Cardinals and left-hander Matthew Liberatore, starting in center field and batting fifth in the lineup. The White Sox scratched Robert from Sunday's series finale against the Texas Rangers due to soreness in his right thumb, but he's recovered after a scheduled off day on Monday. The 27-year-old Cuban has 21 stolen bases on the season, but that's about where it ends for fantasy managers. He enters Tuesday's tilt with a .194/.279/.311 slash line and has added only six home runs, 28 RBI and 25 runs scored for the last-place White Sox. Robert is as physically talented as they come, but he's struck out 80 times in his 254 plate appearances and is only in the 57th percentile in hard-hit rate. His xwOBA sits in just the 26th percentile in MLB.
