Corbin Carroll Hits Two Homers, Plates Four Tuesday
Corbin Carroll continued his power surge in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Braves. Carroll went 3-for-4 with a single, a solo home run, a three-run HR, and a walk. He was also caught stealing. The 24-year-old jumped all over a fifth-inning middle-middle Spencer Strider fastball for a solo shot and then broke things open in the ninth with a three-run blast off of Rafael Montero. Carroll has been on an incredible power pace this season even for his standards and is now slashing .262/.336/.578 with 18 HR, 39 RBI, and 10 stolen bases in 271 plate appearances. He may end up swapping some of his stolen base totals for HR, but fantasy managers can't complain when he's producing at this level overall.
