Fried has made ten starts on the season and has yet to allow more than two earned runs in any of his starts. He now owns a 1.29 ERA in 62 ⅔ innings pitched, a 23.9 strikeout percentage, and has firmly positioned himself to be in the running for the 2025 AL Cy Young Award winner, something the 31-year-old has not achieved in his career.
