TreVeyon Henderson 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Year 1 Could Be Rough Sledding
TreVeyon Henderson will join veteran RB Rhamondre Stevenson for what projects to be some kind of committee backfield. Stevenson has fumbling issues, but he still has utility as a power runner and has solid tackle-breaking ability. Those expecting Henderson to completely take the job over quickly might be disappointed. Henderson's best trait is his pass-protection, so it makes sense that the Patriots wanted him. They had a horrible offensive line this year. They made some changes and brought in new talent, but it's hard not to think they still might struggle. Henderson's through-contact skillset leaves much to be desired as well. He has good pass-catching upside, though, and he should be used extensively as a receiver in Year 1, due to the lack of other receiving talent on the team outside of fellow rookie Kyle Williams. His ADP is too high right now in most leagues, but he could have a decent first campaign in PPR leagues.
