The Philadelphia Eagles declined the fifth-year option for the 2026 season on offensive guard Kenyon Green, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Green will now become an unrestricted free agent after the 2025 season. The Eagles acquired Green from the Houston Texans in March in exchange for defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson and a sixth-round pick. It's no surprise that Philly didn't pick up Green's fifth-year option, as he was a disappointment in his three years in Houston and missed all of the 2023 season due to a shoulder injury. The 24-year-old former 15th overall pick in 2022 by the Texans out of Texas A&M only played in 12 games (nine starts) in 2024 in his final season in Houston. Green also dealt with injuries in 2024 and ended last year on the bench.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
