Jaxson Dart Expected To Sit And Learn In 2025
Russell Wilson is the team's starter under center heading into the start of the 2025 season this fall after they traded into the first round to take former Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart with the 25th overall pick. General manager Joe Schoen said that Dart has a lot to learn as he transitions to an NFL offense, and "the ability for him to learn and sit behind two consummate pros already will be beneficial to him." In addition to Wilson, the G-Men also signed veteran Jameis Winston in free agency, so Dart will open his rookie year as the No. 3 QB for the Giants. Whether the 21-year-old signal-caller actually makes any starts in 2025 will depend on how effective and healthy both Wilson and Winston are in the Big Apple. Dart obviously is off the redraft fantasy radar, but he'll be an intriguing dynasty/sleeper pick this fall.
