New York Islanders forward Mathew Barzal (knee) is expected to be out for around six weeks. TSN's Pierre LeBrun reports that the Islanders star had a minor procedure on his injured kneecap on Thursday. Barzal has been sidelined for the past four games. He also missed time with an upper-body injury earlier in the campaign and has skated in only 30 games this term. There are six goals and 14 assists on Barzal's account. Anthony Duclair has taken on Barzal's duties on the first line and the first power-play unit. However, Duclair has been a disappointment for fantasy managers. He is on a seven-game scoring drought and has notched only eight points (four goals, four assists) in 26 games for the season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
