Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Week 16? Tyler Bass, Will Reichard, Chase McLaughlin

Chase McLaughlin - Fantasy Football Rankings, Kicker Streamers, NFL Injury News

Who should I start for Week 16? Fantasy football outlooks for Tyler Bass, Will Reichard, Chase McLaughlin. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.

There must truly be nothing fantasy football managers love more than trying to choose a kicker to start in the playoffs. It's so difficult to predict their production, and choosing the wrong one can get you eliminated from contention, which is also awesome.

Buffalo Bills kicker Tyler Bass, Minnesota Vikings kicker Will Reichard, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicker Chase McLaughlin are three guys of whom no one has any idea who will score more points.

We'll do our best to try to help, though.

Should I Start Tyler Bass for Fantasy Football?

Bass, the No. 9 kicker on the season, scored 14 points in his team's win over the Detroit Lions. But he's made under 81% of his field-goal tries this season. He's attempted a ton of FGs and extra points, and the high-powered offense he operates in drives most of his value. But the Bills play the New England Patriots in Week 16.

He also continues to make awful misses. Predicting how the game will go can give you a decent rough estimate of how a kicker will do ... sort of. Buffalo should build an early lead, then grind down the clock as much as possible and dominate the time of possession. That's what the Bills offensive coordinator wants to do, anyway.

He's a solid start simply due to the number of opportunities he gets, but this should be one of his lower-scoring games.

Should I Start Will Reichard for Fantasy Football?

Richard is a great player to start. Unlike Bass, the Vikings kicker is extremely accurate. He shook off the post-injury absence rust last week and nailed three FGs and three XPs.

His upside may be limited, as the game against Seattle should feature at least light rain. But Minnesota has a great offense that's afforded the highly accurate kicker plenty of opportunities to score. Fire him up.

Should I Start Chase McLaughlin for Fantasy Football?

McLaughlin has been a tough player to figure out. He operates in a great offense, but there are many games where he just doesn't attempt enough field goals to finish with a good fantasy score.

But this is a simple decision. He's the sixth-highest-scoring fantasy football kicker this season, and he's on a great offense. So, you should start him. More data would only serve to distract you from the important things here.
