Marquez Valdes-Scantling's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 11 (2024). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Marquez Valdes-Scantling for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR5
ANALYSIS: New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling had a huge breakout game in Week 11... not really. He did have two huge gains, including a 67-yard pass and a 40-yard touchdown, and scored two receiving touchdowns on the day, but that doesn't mean he's fantasy gold.

The opposing Atlanta Falcons secondary was absolutely atrocious. Not being able to cover a receiver who was originally at best fourth on the depth chart with three defenders is absurd. Atlanta is allowing the ninth-most passing yards per game and the eigth-most PPR fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season.
Valdes-Scantling is currently the Saints top wideout, but that's because the team's WR corps has been decimated by injuries. Rashid Shaheed (knee), Chris Olave (concussion), and Bub Means (ankle) are all on injured reserve -- Shaheed will miss the rest of the season and Olave and Means will miss an undetermined amount of time.
MVS is probably worth rostering considering the state of the WR room, but he only had three targets last game, meaning his production is likely unsustainable. He's not a good player to start yet.
