Jordan Mason fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 10 (2024). Should you start or sit Jordan Mason for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB36
ANALYSIS: San Francisco 49ers running back Jordan Mason had been outstanding this season despite dealing with a nagging shoulder injury lately. He is the RB22 for the year, averaging 12.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The third-year running back has three rushing touchdowns, scoring his last in Week 4.

The 49ers anticipate Christian McCaffrey to make his season debut in Week 10 after missing the first half of the year because of Achilles tendinitis. Fantasy players shouldn’t expect Mason to completely disappear after playing well as the starter. Unfortunately, he has gone from a must-start RB1 to a borderline flex option in deeper leagues with McCaffrey playing.
Fantasy players in deeper leagues can start him this week, especially with four teams on a bye. Mason has had two weeks to rest his shoulder injury. More importantly, he faces a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that has surrendered 131.3 rushing yards and 30.3 fantasy points per game over the past three weeks.
