Michael Pittman Jr. fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 9 (2024). Should you start or sit Michael Pittman Jr. for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/FLEX
ANALYSIS: Fantasy managers who have Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. on their rosters got a significant boost when they learned that quarterback Anthony Richardson was benched in favor of veteran Joe Flacco. The longtime vet has been a great producer of fantasy points for his receivers this season.

Richardson struggled mightily with routine throws, had a very poor completion percentage, wasn't very accurate on horizontal-breaking routes, turned the ball over more times than he scored, and in general played very shakily this season. Flacco will bring a steadier presence and better accuracy to the passing game for now.
Anthony Richardson: BENCHED 🥶
I can’t believe I’m saying this but… Joe Flacco may help you win a championship, again.

He's a high-volume passer. That's fantastic for all the receivers, but particularly Pittman, who was unstartable with Richardson leading the charge. MPJr failed to record double-digit PPR fantasy points in any of the games that the second-year QB started and finished.
