ANALYSIS: Colby Parkinson, tight end for the Los Angeles Rams, faces the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8. This season, Parkinson has 21 catches for 197 yards and zero touchdowns. The tight end's lack of scoring has hurt his fantasy value.
Minnesota has allowed two touchdowns to tight ends this season, so there is a chance Parkinson could get his first. He has seen six red zone targets this year.

Last week, Parkinson had a disappointing game facing the Las Vegas Raiders, managing only two receptions for 32 yards on two targets. In Week 5, before the bye, he posted seven receptions. He might not always produce large numbers, but he does have a safe floor.
With the tight end position being shaky in fantasy football, Parkinson is worth considering in 12+ team leagues this week. However, in 8-10 team leagues, you can likely find a better option on the waiver wire. Parkinson ranks as a mid-range TE2 in positional value.
